Mtre Richard G. THÉRIAULT, Notary, is a member of the Board of Notaries (Chambre des notaires du Québec). He graduated in civil law (LL.B.) in 1978 and in notarial law (D.D.N.) in 1979, at Laval University in Quebec City. He is the founder of our notarial office and practices his profession in the Outaouais region since 1980.


Mtre Véronique CHÉNARD-THÉRIAULT, Notary, is a member of the Board of Notaries (Chambre des notaires du Québec). She graduated in civil law (LL.L.) at the University of Ottawa, in notarial law (D.D.N.) at the University of Sherbrooke in 2004 and is currently pursuing a Master of Law at the University of Ottawa (part time). She is the daughter of Mtre Richard G. THÉRIAULT. Her involvement in our notarial office dates back many years but she officially joined the notarial profession, in October, 2005.

She is the first Notary in the Province of Quebec to have taken part of her practical training outside the Province of Quebec, namely at RENAUD & MARTI Notarial Office, located in Geneva, in the Swiss Confederation. This international experience was professionally rewarding and gave her the opportunity to establish and maintain a professional network, particularly with the notarial community of Geneva.

Member and former secretary (2006-2007) of the Association des notaires de l'Outaouais, Notary Supervisor at the Clinique de droit notarial de l'Université d'Ottawa since the opening, teacher for the new Master in notarial law at the University of Ottawa, member of the Réseau des femmes d’affaires et professionnels de l’Outaouais and Dame de coeur 2007 (Queen of hearts) in the Réseau for her volunteer implication at the Notarial Clinique, she enthusiastically undertakes her role and implication in the notarial profession and in the community.
